  3.               NobleNet EZ-RPC for Solaris x86

  5. EZ-RPC(TM), the UNIX(R) component in the suite of client/server 
  6. development tools from NobleNet(TM), Inc., is now available for 
  7. SunSoft's Solaris(TM) x86 operating environment. EZ-RPC greatly 
  8. simplifies client/server application development and the 
  9. conversion of standalone applications to the client/server model, 
  10. often without re-coding or re-architecting the application. 
  11. NobleNet tools use remote procedure call (RPC) technology to 
  12. represent interactions between clients and servers as procedure 
  13. calls across a network. With EZ-RPC, programmers accustomed to 
  14. procedural coding can easily understand and use RPCs without re-
  15. tooling or re-training.

  17. Once the subroutines have been designated as running either 
  18. locally or remotely, NobleNet tools automatically generate the 
  19. client and server stubs and the middleware source, outputting 
  20. clean, readable, commented C code. NobleNet's tools work with two 
  21. widely used RPC libraries: NFS-RPC, included in products sold by 
  22. more than 300 vendors, and TI-RPC, bundled with Novell NetWare(R) 
  23. and with every copy of UNIX System V Release 4, including Solaris 
  24. x86 and Solaris SPARC(R).
